Common questions

Questions,
answered plainly.

Before you book

What should I have ready before contacting Fieldstone Homes?

Fieldstone works best with customers who already have a location, a budget range and a rough idea of the home, office or building they want. A clearer brief makes the first conversation far more productive.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Estimates are free, and Fieldstone calls back within 24 business hours of every request.

Is a site visit required?

Yes. A site visit lets Fieldstone review the location, scope, foundation approach and delivery considerations properly before anything is confirmed.

Do I need land before booking a consultation?

Having a site identified helps the consultation go further, faster — but if your land is still in progress, you can still start the conversation.

RTM & modular homes

Can you customize an RTM or modular home?

Yes. Tell Fieldstone how many bedrooms, bathrooms and square feet you want, along with colour preferences and budget, and you’ll get practical options.

Are RTM homes the same as mobile homes?

No. Fieldstone does not sell mobile homes. Today’s modular homes are built to CSA A277 certification standards, which meet or exceed national building code requirements for any home construction.

What foundation can the home go on?

Screw piles, a concrete crawl space, a wood crawl space or a full basement. The right choice depends on your site conditions, project scope and budget.

What is included in a turnkey home?

Turnkey RTM and modular homes include appliances and HVAC systems as part of the confirmed home package. Inclusions are reviewed during design choice and sign-off.

What does Sub600 mean?

Sub600 refers to small homes under 600 square feet — efficient footprints for downsizing, rural sites or additional housing.

Can I customize a small home?

Yes. Customization conversations can cover size, layout, colours and budget, and bedroom and bathroom options where applicable.

What can be customized in a modular design?

Bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, colours, building use, layout needs and budget. Fieldstone provides practical options based on those requirements.

Do custom designs take longer than standard builds?

Timing depends on scope, design decisions, sign-off and production details. Complete buildings can be delivered in as little as 12 weeks after sign-off.

Timeline, pricing & delivery

How long does delivery take?

Complete buildings can be delivered anywhere in Saskatchewan in as little as 12 weeks after sign-off. That isn’t a guarantee for every project — timing depends on design decisions, sign-off, scope, site conditions and placement planning.

What affects the price?

Square footage, design, upgrades, material choices, foundation, delivery distance and placement requirements. Fieldstone reviews each of these openly during the consultation — no hidden fees.

Do you publish pricing?

Not at this time. Fieldstone prefers transparent pricing conversations based on your actual site, design and scope rather than starting prices that rarely match the final project.

Warranty

Is there a warranty?

Yes — a manufacturer’s warranty is available. What it covers for your specific home or building is reviewed with you during the consultation and before sign-off.

Service area

Do you deliver across Saskatchewan?

Yes — anywhere in the province, including rural lots, remote communities and First Nations communities. Road access, foundation and placement requirements are reviewed during the consultation.

Are you based in Saskatoon?

Yes. Fieldstone Homes is based in Saskatoon and serves customers across Saskatchewan.

Do you work with First Nations communities?

Yes. Fieldstone is Indigenous-owned and works with First Nations communities on RTM, modular home and modular building options for community needs.

Can you help after a fire or forest fire?

Yes. Fieldstone works with families and property owners rebuilding after fire or forest fire to compare practical RTM and modular home options.

Commercial buildings

Who uses commercial modular offices?

Contractors, worksite operators, resource operations, businesses, communities and organizations that need practical office space on a faster building path.

Can the office or building layout be customized?

Yes. Layout and design requirements are discussed during the first planning consultation to match your use, site and budget.

Do you deliver commercial buildings outside Saskatoon?

Yes — anywhere in Saskatchewan, including remote worksites and rural communities.

How does a commercial project start?

With a consultation about your location, intended use, size, timeline and budget. Commercial projects are scoped individually rather than chosen from a model list.
